Oleg Khramov: Washington forces to eliminate competitors from technology market

Deputy Secretary of the Russian National Security Council, Oleg Khramov, described Washington’s ban on the use of products of the Russian company “Kaspersky Lab” in the US government agencies and Washington’s actions against the Chinese company “Huawei”, a vivid example of excluding competitors from the market under the pretext of the need to ensure information security.

“Unfortunately, we see that under the pretext of ensuring the security of information, the United States is clearly eliminating competitors from the market,” Khramov said in remarks to Russia’s Rossiyskaya Gazeta newspaper on Wednesday. “Kaspersky Lab” using economic sanctions against them”.

He noted that the United States wants to legitimize its accusations to other countries of alleged cyber attacks for military operations against these countries, including the use of nuclear weapons.
