The Islamic authorities in two countries announced, after sunset Saturday evening, that it is impossible to see the Shawwal Crescent 1441 AH so that tomorrow will be the last Sunday of Ramadan, and the first Monday of Eid Al-Fitr 2020.

According to the International Astronomy Center, India and Bangladesh announced that Monday, May 25, is Happy Eid Al Fitr because the sighting of the crescent from India has not been proven today, Saturday.

In a related context, the Sultanate of Oman and the Sultanate of Brunei announced that tomorrow, Sunday, May 24, will be the day of Eid Al Fitr, after the sighting of the crescent before it was confirmed.

It is reported that today is the 29th day of Ramadan in Brunei, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sultanate of Oman, Iran, Sudan, and Morocco, and will successively declare Eid Al Fitr either Sunday or Monday.

In this regard, the International Astronomy Center indicated that seeing the crescent today with the naked eye after sunset from our area is between very difficult and difficult, as shown in the map.
