Stevie Wonder will have a kidney transplant this September

Singer Stevie Wonder told thousands of fans who watched him perform in the capital this past night, he is expected to undergo kidney transplant surgery this September.

The singer, songwriter and musician informed the audience at an event at Hyde Park, he had a donor and made the announcement to prevent rumors spread about his health condition.

“I will undergo surgery that is kidney transplant in September this year,” he said when finished performing, according to the recording posted on Twitter by the concert audience.

The 69-year-old Singer Stevie Wonder won more Grammy awards than any of his contemporary artists and hit songs including ‘Superstitious’, ‘I Just Called to Say I Love You’ and ‘Is not She Lovely’, however, did not reveal the cause he needs the transplant surgery.
