Tesla electric car explosion in Shanghai, company begins investigation

Tesla began investigating explosion of its electric cars which is the latest in a series of combustion incidents involving Tesla electric cars.

The video, widely shared on the Chinese social network Webbo, shows the parked car emitting smoke and burning out seconds later, according to the British Mirror website.

A video of a group of three completely destroyed cars is shown, and the incident is said to have taken place in Shanghai, although the origins of the videos have not been verified.

The automaker, owned by billionaire businessman Elon Musk, said in a statement that it had sent a team to investigate, and there were no reports of injuries.

“After the incident in Shanghai, we immediately sent the team to a place Last night’s incident, we communicate actively with the departments concerned and support the verification process, and according to the current information there are no casualties. ” Musk said
