Transportation services at subway and bus stations in Toronto, Canada, were disrupted earlier on Monday due to a suspicious bomb at a bus stop as police continued to inspect the package.

Police received calls for a suspicious parcel at the Broadview bus station at 6:30 am local time, a specialized unit arrived at the scene to investigate the call.

Toronto’s public transport authority has suspended service between Wood Pine and St. George, passengers urged not to reach the Broadview station, subway routes intersect with bus stops, according to Hailie Waldman, spokesman for the agency.

The agency paid buses to help citizens get to work after stopping services in these areas.
