Shares of Twitter rose 9.5 percent in the second quarter after the company posted an 18 percent increase in revenues to $ 841 million.
At the same time, the company recorded a 21% increase in revenue from advertising, confirming that the measures applied against the offensive and unwanted content are beginning to bear fruit.
The figures revealed an increase in the average daily number of Twitter users by 14% to reach 139 million daily.
