Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg congratulated Yann LeCun, chief of artificial intelligence at Facebook, Joshua Bengio and Geoffrey Hinton, for honoring the Turing Award this year.

On his official Facebook page, Zuckerberg said: “Your work on the neural network and deep learning has been an important touch to move the whole field of AI forward in order to improve the lives of many people in every way we interact with them With technology. ”

Turing is an annual award granted by the Association of Computing Machines (ACM) to a person chosen for contributions of lasting technical importance in the field of computers, which is similar to the Nobel Prize but is awarded to computer scientists only. The award was named “Alan Turing” The great British mathematician and researcher at the University of Manchester, the inventor of a machine and turing test.
